Anguish

In all its guises( struggle, hurt, overwhelm and turmoil) may dwell in our mind, heart, soul and body. Where does all this come from? Denying our innermost selves. Our true self as we were born, before our light was extinguished.

As we dive deeper into our mind we meet our undeveloped Inner Child Consciousness. The very young part of us which was unseen, unheard and filled with fear. This child conscious part of us reveals itself in many ages and stages of development.Mostly 3 to 5 years but can show up right through to 18 years as a rebellious teen. This part needs desperately to receive our attention, love and compassion. Things he or she may never have experienced. So they try to get our attention for years ( usually inappropriately)

“Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learned here. The spiritual journey is one of relinquishment, or unlearning, of fear and the acceptance of love back into our hearts. Love is the essential existential fact.It is our ultimate reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life. “ Marianne Williamson

How do we connect with and re parent our inner child.? We begin by paying attention to her, noticing her fears and dramas. There are many beautiful meditations to befriend, heal and nurture your little one. Literally hundreds on YouTube. Listen to what feels right to your heart. All healing begins with attention and loving presence.

By rebuilding your connection to your inner child you will create a bridge to all your relationships. One which you can walk over with a bigger heart and more forgiveness. Another exercise is to write a letter to your inner child at all the different ages and stages.Showing compassion and deep awareness to her. At the end of each letter write “ I see you.I hear you, and I love you always from your Elder, wiser Parent Self. “

Please reach out I can share my beautiful and often rocky journey

With Love Janelle
