Plugging In.......The importance of Daily Connection

Plugging In……Divine Connection. So easily forgotten in the haste of life. And THE MOST IMPORTANT DAILY PRACTICE. If it's missed at the start of the day what will surely accumulate is tension, frustration, anger, chaos, unrest and need to control. The flow of life is missed and so is the serenity.
We have been travelling on a long road trip around the USA. An amazing gift of sights, senses and connecting with others. Just so much to see and experience. But to truly be available to immerse in the experiences, connection must come first EVERYDAY with your Higher Power or Source Energy.
Well a few days back we left Denver and our family very early in the morning in a rush to beat the traffic and have more time in Santa Fe. The parting was PAINFUL, the drive INTENSE. (Fast and heavy traffic, navigation, not to mention driving on the wrong side of the road.)
The result was slowly creeping sarcasm and over reaction. To the point of explosion as we both tried to manage and control our trip. There was no connection to God, flow or each other. It took another similar day with similar results the next day to wake us up to what was missing,
Connection for us to God, Flow and each other is non negotiable ! It just can't be bypassed, or the gifts of life will not be present. So now everyday we begin with prayer, meditation and a reading from a meditation book. The results pay off in every way.
