We are so excited to share with you our latest newsletter about self-care, codependency recovery and self-love. These are all important topics that can help us to become our best selves and live a more fulfilling life.
Self-care is about taking time for yourself and doing things that help you to feel refreshed, energised and balanced. This can include activities like taking a walk, getting enough sleep, eating healthy food, and engaging in creative activities.
Codependency recovery is about recognizing that we sometimes rely too heavily on others to make us happy, and taking steps to create more healthy, balanced relationships. This can include learning to express our needs, setting healthy boundaries, and establishing healthy communication habits.
Recovery from codependency begins with awareness and self responsibility. Things only begin to change when I step into and grow my own power. For the longest time I was stuck firmly in codependency as I thought it was always about what my partner did to me;how he controlled me.So my focus was usually on his bad behaviour and how that stopped me from being happy and growing. Now I know I Am responsible for my life and how I impact others. It was fear that kept me blaming the other person instead of stepping out in faith in me and the power of the Universe.
Finally, self-love is about valuing and appreciating ourselves, and learning to accept our flaws and imperfections. This can include activities like positive self-talk, engaging in affirmations, and surrounding ourselves with people who support us.
Here are some suggestions for incorporating self-care, codependency recovery and self-love into your daily routine:
• Make a commitment to yourself to prioritise self-care.
• Allow yourself to take breaks from work and other commitments.
• Spend some time alone each day engaging in activities that you enjoy.
• Practice positive self-talk and affirmations.
• Make time for relationships with people who make you feel valued and appreciated.
• Set healthy boundaries and communicate your needs in a respectful way.
• Make time for creative activities that help to nourish your soul.
